I have built and managed websites since 1997. I use Dreamweaver, which is now one of the applications in Adobe's Creative Suites 3, which also includes: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Imageready, Bridge. Contribute can be included in this suite. I have managed a website created in the Content Management System Joomla.
