A straight hourly rate of $35, which covers most texts. This is usually a much lower cost for similarly experienced editors. For example, a 3,000-word research report for a peer-reviewed journal will cost you about $90, while another editor will charge you $150.

I edit Word text documents using the "Review" feature in Word with track changes. Editing changes are highlighted in colors and underlines. I return your documents to you with these highlights as well as a clean copy that can be compared with your original.
